Tawny Kitaen suspected of driving under the influence

Julie “Tawny” Kitaen was arrested on Saturday afternoon near vicinity of John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana according to Newport Beach Police Sargent, Shontel Sherwood. The arrest was  at approximately 3:00 p.m. for investigation of driving under the influence, after Newport Beach police officers suspected she was driving her Range Rover while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The 48 year old Kitaen allegedly made contact with officers according to Sgt. Sherwood. Kitaen recently appeared on VH1’s Surreal Life and Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab on the same network, and was also arrested in 2006 when a search of her San Juan Capistrano apartment turned up 15 grams of cocaine.
